The area is a popular residential area since it is close to most schools and businesses. The International School of Curacao and the music school are within walking distance. Also, from this location, you will be at the airport within 10 minutes. The nearest supermarket in Emmastad is the Mangusa supermarket. It is located on the other side of the Schottegatweg. There is also a post office, mini-markets, medical centres, pharmacies and a petrol station nearby.
